Project Statement

This project focuses on designing an affordable residential house for mixed-income residents in Atlanta. The site is located in New Market Tax Credit District. The environment around the site is good with lots of vegetation and wildlife. The Beltline is near the site, the bike system is close to the site as well. A bike path will be set up in this community in order to offer the local people who do not have vehicle convenient way to the shops, restaurants, public parks. There are some major problems of the site. For example, the sidewalk and road design is not safe for residents. Some facilities on the site cannot offer full service for residents. Grocery stores and clinic is far away from the site.
